Tonight’s title has a lovely background story, in my opinion. It all started this afternoon in Religion class. I did some work then decided that I was done for the day (in other words, I did question 3a and stopped), but I still had about twenty minutes of class left. What was I to do? I made a decision. I was going to make my little brother a cootie catcher. Yeah, that’s right. A cootie catcher. He loves those! So, I started making it around five minutes to two and continued to almost twenty after two when the bell rang for last period.  There was Art Club today, so I didn’t mind not having it done. I could just finish it in Art Club!

Now, fast forward to Art Club. As you know, on (some) Tuesday afternoons, Junior and I will go to Ms. Edmunds’ Art Club with some friends and just hang out for an hour after school. Nobody really has to do any art. Today I did my Pre-cal homework, for example. But that’s not the point of this story, now is it? I went in to the Art room this afternoon, sat down, took out the half-finished cootie catcher, and finished it. I put little sayings on the inside such as the one in the title and “Chuck Norris is secretly afraid of you” and “A piece of paper with a grudge will give you a paper cut.” I had to ask Ms. Edmunds and the crew (Noelle, Alicia, Sandra, Robyn, Thomas, etc) for some ideas. It was fun!

I love Art Club. It’s such a pity that Junior couldn’t come today! Because he’s in the school acting troupe, he has to go to practice every day a (or, almost every day). I was going to go on the last bus after Art Club, then I got off and waited for my Nan and Mom to pick me up. It turns out that Junior is done practice at around 4:30. I was out around then. He could have given me a ride home, but I thought he got out at 5, so it was a bit of miscommunication on my part. I really should have asked him about it before hand.

Other than Art Club, nothing really happened in school today. This evening, I went over to Junior’s for about two hours. We just sat around, talked, and listened to music. I did my Chemistry homework and he drew a little bit. Nothing too exciting.

Aaah, I’m so tired. There are few things stranger than the space in between sleeping and being awake. It’s such an odd feeling. Everything feels like it’s submersed in water or something. Things tend to move more slowly and nothing makes sense anymore because of how slow it’s moving. I know when I’m in that space, at least, everything is just grand. I close my eyes and just listen to what’s going on around me. Sounds seem louder and closer, blankets seem softer. Aaaah…  What a nice feeling. For me, at least.

Anwho! I’m going to go to bed. Good night!

Tonight’s title comes from the song “The Good Left Undone” by Rise Against, from the album the Sufferer and the Witness. I LOVE that album. It is probably the most played album on my iPod. The song from which the title of this blog is derived is amazing. It is perhaps one of my favorite songs EVER. For anyone who enjoys alternative (well, don’t shoot me if I’m wrong about the genre. That’s just what my iTunes told me!) rock, please listen to it. You won’t regret it.

So, I’m going to have to cut this one short because I need sleep. I haven’t been sleeping too well the past few days and exams are coming up, so I need to start sleeping well or else I won’t do well on my exams! OHNO. If I don’t do well on my exams, Junior will never hear the end of it. So, for Junior’s sake, I should try to sleep well.

The most exciting part of my day was going to Art Club this afternoon. It was, as usual, AWESOME. Junior, Robyn, Noelle, Ms. Edmunds, and I all sat around and talked for the entire hour. Noelle was telling us about how she is getting rats for her birthday, and needs to name them. I suggested “Alto.” That just seems like a rat name to me! Ms. Edmunds was playing Plants vs. Zombieson her iPad. That game looked incredible. Noelle said that she has/had it for her computer, and Junior agreed that it was an awesome game. Excellent. Robyn was being herself… MEANING AMAZING. Gosh, I love her. She’s so mellow and relaxed. Talking to her just puts me in such a good mood, it’s ridiculous. :)

Now, as for Junior, he discovered something today. He’s secretly a dragon. Well, I was surprised and alarmed. If he’s a dragon, that means that I have to walk on egg shells from now on because I might get burnt.  Anywho. I can’t really explain it. I’ll ask Junior to tomorrow,

UGH, my apologies, but tonight I’m just not feeling it. I can hardly keep my eyes open! I’ll write a decent blog another day. Good night for now, though!

Ohmigosh, I just realized that it was my turn to do the blog. I don’t think I’ve even read Junior’s from last night yet! Oh, please forgive me! I’ve been so scatterbrained lately. I still need to do my research paper because it’s due on Friday. ARGH. I didn’t get anything done tonight because... I don’t even KNOW. Time is just flying by and I’m getting nothing done!

By the way, the paper is going horribly.

Junior, I believe, had dance class tonight, so I haven’t spoken to him since school let out. Or rather, since Art Club. We both went today. Instead of Art, I did my Pre-cal homework so that I could focus on my research paper tonight. Pfft, I didn’t get anything done ! Well, except my Pre-cal. That’s okay. I still have tomorrow and the next day to do my paper, so I’ll just work steady. I don’t have anything to do on Thursday, so that will be the frantically working day for me. Back to Art Club. Lisa came by too! She was playing around on Ms. Edmunds’ iPad while I worked, haha. Junior was around, talking to everyone. Sandra, Robyn, Noelle, Thomas, and them were all there doing what they do best - being cool. I love that crowd. (^^)

Lisa brought me home afterward. It was awesome! We were singing "Barbie Girl" by Aqua on the way downtown. Cool kids, ‘er wha’? Yes b’y. Like I said, I don’t know where the time went. One minute it’s 4:30 and I’m walking in the door, the next it’s 9 and I’m trying to write a hurried blog so that Junior doesn’t have to for me again!

My deepest apologies, by I have to cut this short. I really need to do that darn paper! Good night all! Oh, and happy end of November! :D

My Mom washed my little brother’s teddy bear, Ned, today. He was in a little laundry bag. I thought it was just the coolest thing in the world. All I could think of was a "bed-in-a-bag" from Sears or something. I gave Bryton Ned a few years ago because he couldn’t sleep at night. I thought he might just need something to sleep with. As all of my friends know, I sleep with my Dudley the Dragon EVERY night. Unless I forget him. Anywho, I gave Bryton my teddy bear, and he’s slept fine ever since. :)

Oh, and poor Ned. Bryton was talking to Britt in the bathroom, aaaaand... Ned got dropped in the toilet. Now he needs to be washed again.

I love all of my siblings because all three of them are just SO different. Brittany is really mellow and sarcastic; Brooke is really saucy (pre-teen); Bryton is sweet and energetic. The four of us are a rainbow of personalities.

Speaking of rainbows, there was Art Club today after school! I went when the bell rang, and Junior showed up a little later because he had to go to drama practice first. He’s an amazing artist! I think he’s currently drawing caricatures of our entire group. They’re beautiful. And VERY accurate. Maybe I’ll ask him to post some of them... I drew three hearts (one blue, one purple, one green) and shaded in a yellow background. It sounds simple, but it was cute. Nikita said that I should give it to her because I didn’t know who to give it to, so I did. (^^)

Art Club is always fun. There are so many crazy characters in there. So eccentric and AWESOME. Ms. Edmunds is really fun to be around too. She makes sure that you get your work done, but talks to you and carries on while you do it. It really makes class/Art Club more fun. World Religion is pretty cool because she teaches it. The class is really relaxed, and we still get everything done.

Mr. Crane, on the other hand, is amazing. I’ll probably say this a million times, but he’s terrific. This year, I’m learning to love English because of him. (You go, Sir!)

Now, where was I? Oh yes. Art Club. I was temporarily blinded by Mr. Crane’s awesomeness. At around 4, Daniel was finished recycling, so I left a little early. He was giving me a ride home. I had it pretty good today. David picked me up and Daniel brought me home. When Junior gets his licence, if he drives to school, I think I’ll bum rides off him (hint hint, nudge nudge, Junior). I always feel very loved around my friends. (^^)

Nothing else is really going on. I’ll soon be tutoring three people and trying to keep up with all of my own homework, pastimes, etc. so I’ll probably have something interesting to write one of these days.

P.S. The background on my computer is a llama. An angry looking llama. Ah, good ol’ llamas. Gotta love them. I just figured I’d let you all know. Good night !
